Depending on the region and season, it may exhibit slight copper or orange reflections—a visual sign of its wildness. Consistency: Very creamy to finely crystalline. Heather honey crystallizes relatively quickly due to its higher glucose content. Gently stirring creates a particularly delicate, spreadable texture that melts on the palate. A round, almost meditative aroma – like a walk through the late summer heath. Flavor profile: Entry: Mildly sweet, but with earthy depth Heart: Spicy, slightly bitter with subtle roasted notes Finish: Long, powerful and slightly resinous – with subtle warmth A honey for connoisseurs who love the complex and primal quality of honey – not floral, but earthy and full of energy.

Heather honey - A honey for those who want to draw strength from nature.

HEATHER (ERICA) was dedicated to the goddess Artemis – the guardian of the wilderness, the forests and the hunt. This distinctive honey comes from remote, low-acid soils and forests on the Greek peninsula of Chalkidiki, where heather blooms in late summer. The dense carpets of heather provide a final source of nectar for the year, yielding a honey with a powerful personality and deep aromatic flavor. A very rare and unique variety, produced mainly in Greece, which is unmistakable due to its special aroma and distinctive taste.
