PINE HONEY - The Strong One! Antioxidants at the Highest Level

One spoonful of this – and you taste the soul of the Greek forest. In Greek mythology, the pine tree represents purification, protection and the divine – dedicated to the god Dionysus, symbol of natural power and eternal life. Our pine honey comes from remote pine forests in Greece, primarily in Crete and the Peloponnese. The bees here don't collect flower nectar, but rather the honeydew secreted by the insect Marchalina hellenica on the trunks of Aleppo pines (Pinus halepensis)—a process that has remained virtually unchanged for centuries. This type of honey has a mild taste, a resinous and woody character, and naturally contains an abundance of trace elements such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Due to the low glucose content, it remains liquid for a long time and crystallizes only very slowly – a sign of its originality and density.
