A very fine and polyphenol-rich extra virgin olive oil from the island of Corfu, with a fresh aroma and taste, rich in texture and healthy antioxidants.
The Governor olive oil is obtained exclusively from a hundred-year-old “Lianolia” olive tree variety, which is up to 500 years old and grows only on the island of Corfu.
- Very low oxidation value (> 0.3%).
- > 1100 milligrams of polyphenols in every kilogram of olive oil.
Naturally produced with minimal environmental impact, without irrigation or the use of chemicals. Cold-pressed within hours at lower temperatures than usual.
Due to the early harvest, the olives for our Limited Edition are picked a few weeks after those harvested. The polyphenol content is still extremely high, exceeding EU regulations for health claims by a factor of two. High in oleocanthal and oleacein.
It is used by many of our customers for both private consumption and in the catering industry because of its excellent quality and health benefits.

Tasting notes: A robust EVOO with the aroma of freshly cut grass. Fruity, earthy, grassy with a long, peppery finish. Not quite as peppery as our Limited Edition due to the lower polyphenol content.
